Room Reverberation (RT60), SPL (dB) Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and Polarity Checker.
It boasts features such as 1/1, 1/3 & 1/6 octave RTA modes, Leq, RT60 (wideband, and Octave), spectrogram, peak frequency, Fast, Medium & Slow filters, Flat & A/C Weighting, Averaging, SPL Chart Recorder, Noise Criteria (NC), White/Pink Noise, Sine, Square, Triangle, Sweep, Ramp and Impulse signals & loudspeaker polarity checker. Features also include Frequency spectrum store & load, RT60 store, and Chart store. Stored files can be sent via Email.
The tool incorporates an ISO Octave Calibration feature to correct for your device's microphone response and wideband calibration. Calibration discs are vertically adjusted to ensure a flat response and align the overall SPL with an external meter.
Its applications range from home theater usage to tasks in audio engineering and car audio setups.

The Spectrum Analyzer component of AudioTools employs FFT on sample batches captured at the microphone. A Hann windowing technique minimizes aliasing. Spectra recorded can be stored as files in the device memory for future viewing alongside the live spectrum.
The deciBel meter utilizes IIR filters and exponential averaging to deliver Flat, A and C weighted response rates at Fast, Medium, and Slow speeds.
The Chart Recorder presents a continuous trace of SPL measurements over recent minutes.
To assess loudspeaker polarity with the polarity checker, connect the output to the speaker under analysis and select "Polarity" from the signal generator screen. Navigate back to the RTA screen where "Pol ---" or "Pol +++" is displayed based on whether the speaker is out of phase or in phase respectively.
The Signal Generator produces White and Pink Noise, Sine, Square, Triangle waves, Ramps, and Impulses. It employs multiple cycled buffers refreshed randomly to generate truly random White/Pink noise. Different wave frequencies can be adjusted using arrow buttons or keyboard input. The Impulse signal emits a delta wave roughly once per second.
We advise that iAudioTool's functionality hinges on the iPad/iPhone hardware and is not guaranteed to adhere to any specific audio measurement or safety standards.
